How I loved my 1GB shuffle. It was the first generation “stick o’ gum” model. Nothing more than a slickly-designed USB memory stick with playback controls and a headphone jack. But perfect for holding enough podcasts to get me to work and back again, and then some. More recent models have gone down the minituarisation hole, requiring inconventient methods to hook them up for syncing, to control playback and to even find them in pockets. And now all gone. *sob*
